DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

A.

Please note that we are located in Downtown Victoria and do not have a parking lot. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that guests allot the appropriate amount of time to find parking.

CANCELLING/RESCHEDULING

A.

We require 12 hours prior notice to adjust or reschedule your booking.

We require 24 hours' prior notice for cancellation.

In the event of illness or unexpected emergency, we can be flexible so call or email us and we can see what can be done.

WHY DO I HAVE TO LOCK UP MY ELECTRONICS?

A.

Short answer - no cheating! We also cannot allow any photos being taken in our rooms that could be posted on the internet, giving away the answers to our puzzles or other spoilers in our rooms.

There are very very few exceptions to this rule, so please be mindful.

ARE THE ROOMS PRIVATE?

A.

All of our room experiences are private, meaning those who booked an escape room will be the only people in that specific room. There may be other groups in other rooms and the lobby space, but not in your room!

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU RECOMMEND I DO OR DO NOT WEAR/BRING?

A.

Certainly! 

If you require reading glasses or anything similar please, please  bring them. Our rooms are very  dark, and you will read clues and hints during the experience. 

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in. You are not  permitted to remove your shoes in the room, so maybe leave the stilettos at home! 

It is important to note that all electronics, including but not limited to smartphones, cameras, flashlights, calculators, lighters, and e-cigarettes, are prohibited from the room with very few exceptions. 

All food and beverage, including water, are also prohibited to protect the quality and function of our rooms. 

We have lockers to store these items in, but it’s best if you don’t bring ‘em!

DO YOU OFFER ROOMS IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES?

A.

At this time, we offer our escape rooms in English.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

A.

Currently, ALL of our rooms contain flashing lights that cannot be turned off. If you are photosensitive, please keep this in mind. 

Motel 66 and The House of Occult contain artificial smoke machines. If you are asthmatic or have prior respiratory issues, please keep this in mind. 

The Wishmaster and The House of Occult are our most wheelchair-friendly rooms. They contain a narrow passageway halfway through gameplay, but a wheelchair user may be escorted to the other portion of the escape room via a different entrance. Motel 66's entrances and exits have 23-inch wide doorways, slightly narrower than the standard wheelchair. There is a wheelchair ramp into the facility. Please notify us before your booking if you require wheelchair assistance and accommodation. 

Registered Service Animals are permitted inside our rooms.

ARE THERE ACTORS IN THE ROOMS?

A.

Nope! No actors here! Our rooms however are very dark and do contain loud noises and things that open very suddenly.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE?

A.

That depends on the room!

For The House of Occult and The Wishmaster, guests under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older at all times while inside the room. For Motel 66, guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older at all times while inside the room. There are zero exceptions to this policy. 

We DO NOT allow anyone younger than five into our rooms.

DO YOU OFFER BIRTHDAY/STUDENT/GROUP/ETC DISCOUNTS?

A.

At this time, we do not offer any birthday, military, or student discounts. Our group discounts qualify for groups of 15 participants or larger.

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE?

A.

Horror Escape is different than your average escape room in many ways, one of them being that we offer 45 minutes in our rooms instead of the standard hour. We are not for the faint of heart!

WHAT DOES IT COST?

A.

$27CAD+GST per person!

HOW FLEXIBLE ARE THE ROOM PARTICIPANT MAXIMUMS?

A.

Our room maximums are firm for the safety of our guests and staff and quality control of our rooms. Check out our sister location Quest Reality Games, if you wish to accommodate up to 10 people in one escape room. 

We can divide larger groups into multiple rooms if that is an option for you.

WE WANT TO ADD ONE MORE PERSON TO OUR BOOKING, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

A.

So long as your group does not exceed the allotted booking maximum, this is possible. You can make this change either in person or by calling us!

CAN I RESERVE A SPOT WITHOUT PAYMENT?

A.

We can only reserve a time slot with upfront, full payment.

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

A.

Sure do! Please be mindful of the time of day, week, or year as some are busier than others. While we are happy to take walk-ins, we CAN NOT guarantee the spot you want will be available when you want it.

We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
